Emory University alumni/alumnae now have access to a selection of library databases from EBSCO.
First, alumni/alumnae must register and join the Emory Alumni Association Online Community. Then, they will receive the user ID and password to log-in and access members-only features.
Academic Search Alumni Edition
Designed for the research needs of the post-college professional, this database provides full text for more than 3,350 journals—including more than 3,000 peer-reviewed journals—as well as indexing and abstracting for more than 8,200 journals. the database offers information in nearly every area of academic study. Academic Search Alumni Edition also includes valuable peer-reviewed full-text journals, offering critical information from many sources.
Business Source Alumni Edition
Providing access to nearly 1,450 full-text business magazines and journals—of which over 750 are peer-reviewed—this resource was created specifically to meet the research needs of the post-college professional. This database includes publications in nearly every area of business. Business Source Alumni Edition includes full-text sources ranging from general periodicals to trade publications and top management journals. Additional full-text sources include country economic reports, industry reports, market research reports, company profiles and more.
Discover well-researched information, covering all aspects of human impact to the environment, with GreenFILE. this collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on the environmental effects of individuals, corporations and local/national governments, and what can be done at each level to minimize these effects. The database provides indexing and abstracts for more than 612,000 records, as well as Open Access full text for more than 9,100 records.
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts
Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts™ (LISTA) is available free to any library — compliments of EBSCO Publishing. LiStA indexes more than 560 core journals, nearly 50 priority journals, and nearly 125 selective journals; plus books, research reports and proceedings. The thesauri in both, LISTA and Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts™ with Full Text databases, include 6,800 terms, 2,700 of which are preferred terms. Both databases also include author profiles. Customers can review information on 5,000 of the frequently indexed authors in LISTA, such as which subject terms are most commonly applied to their articles, and in which publications the author has been published.
