DiSC Call for Proposal: Round 2

DiSC is excited to announce that we are actively soliciting proposals for our second round of 2011-2012 project selections.  Proposals are due by November 15, but interested scholars must get in touch with DiSC staff by October 15 if they are planning on submitting something, so we can have time to help them develop a proposal.  This round is designed to give scholars who spent the summer traveling the opportunity to get a project started this academic year.

Changes on the third floor

by Miriam Posner, Brian Croxall, and Stewart Varner

If you've been to the third floor of the Woodruff Library lately, you've noticed that changes are afoot. Behind a temporary wall, workers are banging away at a new space called the Research Commons, with an opening date set for fall break.
