Encyclopedia of Jews in the Islamic World

The Encyclopedia of Jews in the Islamic World covers an area of Jewish history, religion and culture which until now lacked its own cohesive/discrete reference work. The Encyclopedia aims to fill the gap in academic reference literature on the Jews of Muslim lands particularly in the late medieval, early modern and modern periods.

Political Science Complete (PSC) contains full text for over 450 journals, and indexing and abstracts for nearly 2,100 titles, (including top-ranked scholarly journals).

Software Training in the Woodruff Library's Learning Commons

Computer workstations within Woodruff Library now have access to the Lynda.com online training tutorials. This includes the workstations in the Learning Commons and in ECIT. 


Colonial India primary source databases

In the past year or so we have licensed access to two online collections of primary sources put together by the Adam Matthew company in the U.K.

AutoCAD now available at Emory University Libraries

Emory University Libraries is pleased to announce that the Library’s Electronic Data Center (EDC) now provides access to AutoCAD Map 3D. The version that we have installed includes support for 3D and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). Core GIS technology is rapidly evolving to better integrate field collected data (i.e. GPS/Total Station), remote sensing (i.e. aerial/satellite imagery), and 3D data and graphics.
