Encyclopaedia Islamica

This volume of Encyclopaedia Islamica is the first of a projected 16-volume publication, consisting of an abridged and edited translation of the Persian Da'irat al-Ma'arif-i Buzurg-i Islami, one of the most comprehensive sources on Islam and the Muslim world. One unique feature of this work of reference lies in the attention it gives to Shi'i Islam and its rich and diverse heritage, which makes it complementary to other encyclopaedias.

e-Eros

e-Eros is the online version of the Encyclopedia of Reagents for Organic Synthesis contains 70,000 reactions and 4,000 of the most frequently consulted reagents used in organic synthesis. It is fully searchable by structure and substructure, reagent, reaction type, experimental conditions, etc. and allows full text searches. The database includes properties, preparations, example reactions, and key literature references.

Aristoteles Latinus Database

Aristoteles Latinus is the critical edition of the Medieval Latin Aristotle, including the entire corpus of all known Latin versions and all Medieval Greek-Latin translations, forming the main tools for the study of science and philosophy in the Middle Ages. Prepared and supervised by the Artistoteles Latinus Center of the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, ALD Online can be searched on its own or simultaneously with Library of Latin Texts, the Monumenta Germaniae Historica.

CQ Almanac

The CQ Almanac Online Edition is the digital equivalent to the print series, which provides comprehensive analysis of all legislation for the past Congressional session.

Brill's New Jacoby

Brill's New Jacoby (BNJ) is a collection of commentary on the fragments of 856 Greek historians whose works have survived only in fragmentary. BNJ supersedes F. Jacoby's monumental 18 volume, Die Fragmente der griechischen Historiker, Parts I-III. Each author has the Greek text with facing English translation; new, critical commentary; a brief encyclopedia-style entry, and a select bibliography.

Brill's New Pauly contains full-text articles on all aspects of the ancient world, including persons, places, institutions, events, artifacts, technical terms, ideas and concepts, and interaction between Greek and Roman culture with others (Semitic, Celtic, Germanic, etc.). Many articles are illustrated with maps, site plans, genealogical tables, and black-and white photographs.
