Eighteenth Century Journals

Eighteenth Century Journals, a portal to newspapers and periodicals, provides full-text access to rare British newspapers and periodicals from the 17th and 18th centuries. These materials have been carefully screened and selected to avoid overlap with the collections in Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO) and Early English Newspapers. Included are materials from the Hope Collection at the Bodleian Library, Oxford University; The Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center; the British Newspaper Library at Colindale, London; and Cambridge University Library.
