We're happy to introduce a new, enhanced EUCLID. Our recent upgrade to the library's catalog not only increases EUCLID’s search speed and capabilities, but also prepares the way for future enhancements.
- Unicode input and display: Search using non-Roman alphabets such as Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and Arabic and use roman transliteration with diacritics to search other vernaculars
- New mobile features: Use your Smartphone to copy an item's title, call number, and location by text message or QR code
- Browse Shelves function: View items that would appear next to an item in the stacks by clicking the 'browse shelves' link in an item's Brief Record
- Stacks Location function: Clicking “Stacks” links to a map to help locate resources.
- EUCLID Menu enhancements: Access databases, Reserves, and other services directly from EUCLID's main menu
- Advanced Search function: Refine your search by library, format, year, language, and more using the advanced search option
- Limit Search function: Click “Limit Search to refine results by library, language, format, year, etc
- New catalog record services:
Access email and print options for any record by clicking the SAVE button
Display a permanent URL for bookmarking and forwarding by clicking the "Permalink" option
Browse titles in Google Books
Link to works by the same author or subject(s)

Mobile Features
To send item details to your mobile phone:
- Click the phone icon to set up and receive a text message OR
- Click the QR Code icon to see a large image to scan title, call number, and location into your phone using your phone’s scanner app. For guidance on scanner apps, see this Libguide.

Clicking the Details button in a search result will display “Brief Record” information and a “Detailed Record” tab for even more information on the selected record. Use the “browse shelves” link at lower right of Detailed Record window to return a list of titles sorted by call number.

Saving Records and Additonal Services
When an individual record is displayed, a panel appears on the right hand side.

Selecting ‘Save’ stores the selected record(s) to a list for future actions (email, sorting, etc.) These saved records are stored only for your current session on EUCLID so the actions must be executed before exiting EUCLID.
Permalink creates a permanent URL leading to the item record so you can bookmark it or add it to a message or document.
Browse Book in Google executes a Google Book Search for the item
Find More... searches EUCLID for items with similar author or subject(s)
