How can I get an item that's "ON ORDER" or "IN-PROCESS?"

You can request IN-PROCESS items for rush cataloging in the following manner:

* Pull up the item record in EUCLID.

* Click the “REQUEST” button.

* Entering your Emory ID and fill out the form.

The average turnaround time for in-process items is two business days.

How can I make sure library notices are going to my correct email address?

Verify that all your contact information, including your email address, is current in OPUS or Peoplesoft. Your library account information is downloaded directly from the main Peoplesoft/OPUS system on campus.

How can I tell what's checked out to me and when it's due?

The My Library Account webpage of EUCLID offers the option User Status Inquiry. Enter your Emory Personal ID to pull up your user record. Click on the checkouts link and it will display all the items you currently have checked out and when they’re due. You can find a "My Library Account" button on top of the basic EUCLID search page.

What is the library's policy on privacy and confidentiality?

The confidentiality policy is a combination of the University policy on confidentiality and federal law regarding the confidential nature of library records. This policy recognizes and guarantees the confidentiality of all registration and circulation records. The Library Policy Committee of the University Senate has reaffirmed this policy.

What if a book I've returned is still on my account?

Please contact the Library Service Desk if a book you have returned is still listed on your library account.
