The place everything has come to is where a new book of essays by the poet and professor Kevin Young lives: in some great, grey area. Woodruff Library’s Music and Media Library began a service last month that enables students, faculty and staff to check out first-generation iPads and Nook Color eReaders for two weeks at a time, free of charge.
The Woodruff Library announced that it will adopt new weekend hours, starting Feb. 3, for the spring semester. Instead of closing at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, as it has in the past, it will now close at midnight. These changes came as response to a request made by Student Government Association (SGA) on behalf of students. We are excited for these changes, and not just because of students’ frequent late nights there.
