What government maps does Woodruff Library have?
As part of the Federal Depository Library Program, Woodruff Library receives maps from a variety of U.S. federal government agencies. EUCLID contains records for only a small number of these maps. The list below is an overview of our holdings, with call number and location information. The Reference map cases are on Level 2; the government documents shelving and map cases are on Level 1.

1. USGS Topographic Maps
Topographic maps show the shape and elevation of the terrain. We hold a nearly complete run of topographic maps for the state of Georgia and the other Southeastern states.

2. USGS Geologic Maps
Geologic maps use a combination of lines, symbols and colors to show the composition and structure of earth materials and their distribution across and beneath the Earth's surface.
Coal Investigations (C) Show bedrock geology, stratigraphy, and structural relations of selected coal resource areas of the U.S.
