Erin Mooney earned an MA in English at Louisiana State University. Prior to joining Woodruff Library, she taught English and English as a Second Language for 11 years in colleges and community colleges and overseas in Morocco and South Korea.
Erin began working at the Robert W. Woodruff Library in 1998 as a government documents specialist. She took the opportunity to get more and more involved in teaching classes and workshops and transitioned to an instruction-focused job. Now, as coordinator of first-year instruction, she spends most of her time engaging in outreach initiatives and teaching undergraduates how to manage the complexities of library research. She also supports and teaches Endnote and Zotero.
