Unfortunately, sometimes
an article in a database is incorrectly categorized as "scholarly." Here are some tips to make sure your resources from journals
are
scholarly:
- Use the database, Ulrich's
Periodical Directory. You
can enter the name of the journal, and the journal's description in
Ulrich's will indicate whether the journal contains peer-reviewed,
scholarly
articles;
- Talk to a librarian; or
- Ask your professor.
