Facilities & Computing

ChemCommons

The ChemCommons features 7 PC and 5 iMac workstations. The workstations feature the same set of applications as the General Use iMac and PC stations in Woodruff Library with addition of ChemBioDraw 12 suite, Crystal Maker, and CASSI database. They also provide access to additional databases and library resources that are specific to the study of chemistry.

Additionally, the Chemistry Library features a seminar room equipped with two Smartboards and two PC workstations that feature the same set of applications as the PC workstations in the commons area.

The ChemCommons also has a BizHub that can copy, print, and scan in both Black&White and color. For more information on the BizHub and for instructions how to use it please visit the Print, Copy, Scan page (the BizHub at the ChemCommons operates similarly to a BizHub in the Woodruff Library Learning Commons).

Logging on to ChemCommons is the same as for Learning Commons:

  • Students, Staff and Faculty: use your Dooley/Eagle ID and password.
  • If you are having trouble logging on with your Emory NetID and Password, try synchronizing your login and password at Emory Network IDentity (ENID)

ChemCommons is updated every fall and spring semester.
