Math & Science Reading Room

The Math & Science Reading Room is a quiet study space primarily for the Physics, Mathematics & Computer Science, and Environmental Studies departments. The reading room houses a limited selection of subject-specific current journals and magazines.
Computing
The reading room has 4 iMac computers, a Black&White printer, a small group study room with a PC workstation, a classroom with 23 PC workstations and a projector, and an adjacent seminar room.
The iMac workstations feature the same set of applications as the General Use iMac workstations in Woodruff library. We have also installed CASSI, Crystal Maker, and ChemDraw to these iMac computers.
The PC workstations feature the same set of applications as the Data Visualization and Statistics workstations in Woodruff library with an exclusion of MAXQDA and an addition of astronomy applications.
Document delivery is available for faculty, graduate students, and postdocs from the Mathematics & Computer Science, Physics, and Environmental Studies departments.
