Collection of datasets includes surveys on a wide range of topics pertaining to politics, sociology, and economics. Many of the surveys in Roper's archives were conducted outside of the United States. Access to datasets in Roper's archive is limited to 50 datasets/year, and requests to order datasets must be placed through the Emory Center for Digital Scholarship.
iPoll is a comprehensive, up-to-date source for US nationwide public opinion. A full-text retrieval system, the iPoll online database is organized at the question level, providing the tools to sift through nearly a half million questions asked on national public opinion surveys, 1935 to present. Surveys archived in the Roper Catalog were originally gathered by academic, commercial and media survey organizations such as Gallup Organization, Harris Interactive, Pew Research Associates, and many more. Each Emory user must register, using his/her e-mail address, to access this resource.
