Two library publications recognized as Best in Show

Congratulations to Holly Crenshaw, Emory Libraries Director of Communications.  Two Emory Library publications, both edited and produced under the leadership of Holly have been recognized as “Best of Show” for items produced in 2011, MARBL magazine  and Courageous Inquiry: A Report to the Community.

Entries were judged on content, originality, design format and effectiveness, by a team of experts in public relations and marketing who select the winners in each category. Winning entries will be on display during the PR Xchange program during the American Library Association (ALA) Annual Conference in Anaheim, CA. These honors are part of an annual program to recognize the very best public relations materials produced by libraries in the past year. The newly announced awards recognize original materials produced during the 2011 calendar year.

The competition is sponsored by the Library Leadership and Management Association (LLAMA), a division of ALA, which encourages and nurtures current and future library leaders, and develops and promotes outstanding leadership and management practices. Our own Director of Organizational Development and Human Resources is currently serving as president-elect of LLAMA, and will become president July 1, 2012.
