Join us for the "New Frontiers in the Economic, Cultural, and Digital History of the Atlantic Slave Trade" conference, which begins Thursday, March 21 at 4 pm and ends Saturday, March 23 at 4:15. Drop in for a session or two; see the schedule for more information. The conference, free and open to the public, will be held in the Jones Room, level 3 of Emory’s Robert W. Woodruff Library. The library is a co-sponsor of the event.
The conference is in honor of David Eltis, Emory University’s history department professor emeritus, author and principal investigator of Voyages: The Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade Database project.
