The Preservation Office was established in 1982 to serve all Emory libraries.

The Office provides a wide range of services to ensure that library materials, irrespective of format, remain available to users.

The Office is organized into four functional units: Conservation, Reformatting, Audio/Visual Media Preservation, and Binding.
