Facts and Figures--Overview
Emory ARL Statistics
Throughout the year the Emory libraries collect a wide range of statistical data which they regularly report to national and regional organizations such as the Association of Research Libraries.
This site has been designed to provide easy library staff access to current ARL
data as well as to an archive of past information reported
to such organizations. Data has been organized both by
Emory library and by broad subject area, following the
reporting system used by ARL. This site is open to all library staff. Because of the confidentiality concerns,
however, some sections may only be viewed in summary form.

About Our Database & Electronic Resources
Database usage statistics, including which databases are most heavily consulted, can be found on the
EUCLID system and can be viewed by selected library staff. In addition, detailed usage reports for specific databases sometimes are provided directly by commercial vendors and publishers and can be viewed by selected library staff. This detailed usage data is being collected over time and provides a useful indicator of user search patterns and preferences. Depending on the data being reported, it may be possible to dynamically generate custom usage reports for specific databases and vendors.
Other Library Data of Interest
Various automated services in the Emory libraries also generate data which may be of use. This includes activity data on the use of the EUCLID system and its special Electronic Journals holdings list.
In addition activity data for Emory's electronic ReservesDirect system also is available online.
