Library Learning Commons
The Learning Commons integrates technological resources and support services into accessible physical spaces in order to provide Emory students, faculty, and staff with a welcoming environment for collaborative learning and research.
Overall, the Woodruff Library Learning Commons provides:
- Over 200 Mac computers, including 46 dual boot Macs featuring both Mac and Windows OS;
- Over 40 PC computers;
- 9 HP LaserJet black and white printers;
- 6 HP Multifunctional Printing devises (BizHubs) for photocopying (all), scanning (all), and faxing (Level 2). All operations can be done in both black and white and color;
- 6 microfilm/microfiche readers supplied with printers and PC workstations for printing and scanning;
- Access to lynda.com — an online training library for various applications. Every Internet browser on every computer workstation in Woodruff library Learning Commons has a bookmark with the access link to lynda.com. Please note that lynda.com training materials are unaccessible outside of the Woodruff library or over a wireless network.
