The following canned EUCLID search phrases generate lists of
the most recently ordered or acquired items. The subjects listed
reflect current faculty interests in Religious Studies as far
as I am aware of them (South Asia-related acquisitions, e.g.
Buddhism, Hinduism, will be found on my South
Asia Studies guide). Let me know if you wish to have me
expand or limit them or set up additional searches. Let me know
also if there are items (books, journals, or multimedia) that
you would like me to order for the library. (For acquisitions
in Christianity consult Pat
Graham in Pitts; for Judaism, Tarina
Rosen; for texts in East Asian languages, Guo-Hua
Wang; for texts in Arabic, Hikmat
Faraj.)
Click on a Subject. A search
phrase, simple or complex, is encoded
in the link. Complete holdings in
all the Emory University Libraries
will be displayed in EUCLID
with the most recent orders and acquisitions
listed first (regardless of the year
of publication). Not all items may
be captured in these searches because
some relevant material may be buried
in an anthology or other title that
does not use the keywords of the search
phrase. Browsing EUCLID with Library
of Congress Subject Headings or
clicking on cross-references in a
EUCLID record expands the usefulness
of this page.
Order Status. In the displayed
record, if "copies:" is
followed by the words "None"
or "On order", that means
that the item has not yet been received.
If "copies:" is followed
by the words "In process",
then the order has been received and
awaits cataloging.
