Locating LGBT Material at Emory
To find materials located at any of Emory's libraries, search EUCLID, Emory's online library catalog. Since LGBT Studies is an interdisciplinary area of study, useful materials can be found in a broad range of sources that are not primarily concerned with LGBT themes or issues. It may be helpful to also consult other subject and course guides at Woodruff Library in order to search for LGBT materials in particular disciplines.

The contents of books and articles are not searchable in EUCLID. For assistance please read: Finding articles in the Woodruff Library.

The following links will take you directly to Euclid and display the results of the subject heading search. The subject headings below are only a sample of the headings established by the Library of Congress. For a complete listing, a multi-volume set of Library of Congress (LC) subject headings is available at the Reference desk located on the 2nd floor of the Woodruff Library.

You may also find useful primary sources by adding a subheading to your subject search. Some useful subheadings can include: interviews, biography, autobiography, correspondence, and letters. If you need assistance in locating primary sources whether they are held at Emory or elsewhere, please feel free to contact me at any time at wholden@emory.edu or 7-0621.
