  • Academic Search Premier: Search hundreds of journals for full text articles. Tip: click Advanced Search tab then Subjects button, type in country name, click Browse, click Explore Subdivisions.
  • Bibliography of Asian Studies: Search western-language articles and book chapters on all parts of Asia published since 1971. Tip: Click Browse by Country.
  • EIU Country Reports: Search for analyses of political, economic and business conditions in almost 200 countries.
  • Foreign Broadcast Information Service: Index to the Daily Reports issued by the U.S. Government. The Daily Reports include translated broadcasts, news agency transmissions, newspapers, periodicals, and government statements from nations around the world. They focus on political, economic, scientific, and cultural issues and events throughout the world.
  • Global Market Information Database: Compilation of economic,social and consumer data for up to 180 countries with time series and forecasts.
  • Lexis Nexis Academic Full-text access to over 13,000 news, business and legal sources. The sources include international, national and regional newspapers; magazines; trade journals; newsletters; wire service reports; transcripts of television and radio news programs; law reviews; company reports and more.
  • World Development Indicators Online: Statistical data for over 550 development indicators and time series data from 1960-2000 for over 200 countries and 18 country groups. Data includes social, economic, financial, natural resources, and environmental indicators. Results can be scaled, indexed against a particular year, viewed by percentage change, and charted.
  • World News Connection: Compiled from thousands of non-U.S. media sources, the information in WNC covers significant socioeconomic, political, scientific, technical, and environmental issues and events.
